In it, you take on the role of an investigator who seeks to shed light on mysterious cases, while the facilitator plays as the Culprit, guiding players as they piece together the clues left behind and find what connections exist between them. A typical run of this game can take on the form of a single case, or an ongoing episodic story spanning several different cases. Within the pages of When the Penny Drops, you’ll find:

Imagine, if you will, on a warm fall night, as the leaves dance in the wind, you sit in humble abode and your friend says "we should play a game(that they designed)." Everyone agrees excitement is in the air...but then suddenly a scream!!!!!!! The game has disappeared! The chase has begun! Tracking scant clues through the forest of the filebox, a shallow grave is stumbled upon, but hark! No game lies with in! So what is to be done? Well you have to buy the game from your friend and their developer partner. 5/5 stars.
